Agreement to these terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. A signed photography agreement, written image license, or terms shown during a purchase may contain additional terms; those specific terms control for that service or transaction if they conflict with this page.
Portfolio and site content
Photographs, text, branding, page designs, and other original content on this site are protected by copyright and other applicable rights. Browsing or sharing a link does not transfer ownership or grant permission to download, copy, publish, sell, train an artificial-intelligence system with, or otherwise reuse the content. See the image licensing policy for details.
Inquiries and availability
Submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship, guarantee availability, reserve a date, or establish a price. A photography commission begins only after the booking requirements stated in the written proposal or agreement are completed.
Private client galleries
Client gallery links, access tokens, and passwords are intended for the client and people the client chooses to invite. Do not post a private access link publicly, attempt to enter another client’s gallery, bypass download controls, or use automated tools to copy gallery content. Access may expire or be revoked to protect the client, the photographs, or the service.
Comments and submissions
You are responsible for material you submit. Do not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, deceptive, abusive, infringing, promotional spam, or invasive of another person’s privacy. You confirm that you have the right to submit your message. Art of the Shutter may review, decline, edit for basic formatting, or remove submissions and is not required to publish them.
Digital products and payments
Product descriptions, compatibility information, price, and delivery terms shown at checkout form part of the purchase. Do not share, resell, redistribute, or upload a purchased digital product unless its license expressly permits that use. Payments may be processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. The refund policy explains the general approach to refunds and cancellations.
Acceptable use
You may not use this site to:
- Break a law or infringe another person’s rights
- Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass site security or access controls
- Upload malicious code or misuse forms, comments, downloads, or private galleries
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship to another person or organization
Availability and external services
Reasonable care is taken to keep the site accurate and available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Links and integrated services operated by others are governed by their own terms and policies. Site information is general and should not be treated as legal, tax, or other professional advice.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Art of the Shutter is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising solely from use of—or inability to use—this website. Nothing here excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
